We are seeking individuals who share our commitment to education and who wish to make a meaningful contribution to the future success of St Christopher School. St Chris is entering an important and exciting period in its development. The independent education sector is experiencing significant change, with evolving educational expectations, increased regulatory requirements, demographic shifts and economic pressures. These challenges also present opportunities for innovation, growth and transformation. As a Governor, you will join the Board contributing to the School’s strategic direction, educational innovation, financial resilience, effective governance and commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and safeguarding. Working collaboratively with fellow Governors and the Senior Leadership Team, you will help ensure the continued success and long-term sustainability of the School. The Board of Governors is collectively responsible for the strategic leadership, effective governance and long-term sustainability of the School. Governors serve as Trustees of the School’s charitable trust and Directors of the School’s company. Working collaboratively with fellow Governors and the Senior Leadership Team, they provide strategic oversight, support and constructive challenge to ensure the School continues to flourish. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who can bring professional expertise, strategic insight and sound judgement to the Board, together with a commitment to the values and ethos of St Chris. This is an opportunity to contribute to the future of one of the UK's most distinctive independent schools and to make a lasting difference to the lives, education and wellbeing of young people.
