Daily Routine: A Boarder’s Typical Day
Boarding at St Chris feels like a home away from home.
After a busy day at school, boarders return to the Boarding House – Arundale - for a snack. They can then either take part in a range of extra-curricular activities, relax in the boarding house with friends, or older students can take a trip to nearby Letchworth.
Following supper, boarders take part in prep (homework) – in the younger years this takes place in a supervised classroom together or older students can study independently in their rooms. Following prep boarders take part in house activities which include swimming, cookery, sports and games, film nights and theme nights. They then get a good night’s sleep before waking to have breakfast together before heading to school.
At the weekend there is a busy programme of events to take part in, combined with time to relax and recharge after a busy week!
