Our Nursery is set across several free-flow bright and colourful rooms. All resources are fully accessible for independent use. Each room has a table and low level interactive surfaces with plenty of floor space to interact with peers and take part in self-led play. |
Outside Learning Space |

The St Chris Nursery has a dedicated enclosed garden with a sandpit, veggie patch and large-scale play equipment, an age-appropriate climbing frame, slide and a tree swing. Our youngest learners can often be seen jetting around outside on their bikes. |
At St Chris, we affectionately call our Nursery "Monte" as an homage to our Montessori roots. While we no longer follow the Montessori approach, our philosophy of child-centred learning and play remains at the heart of everything we do.

Facilities in the Nursery
Nursery is set across several free-flow bright and colourful rooms. Children have a table to sit at to paint, mould or do, and plenty of floor space to interact with peers inside and take part in self-led play.
The St Chris Nursery has a dedicated enclosed garden with a sandpit and messy play equipment. There is also an age-appropriate climbing frame and slide and a tree swing. Our youngest learners can often be seen jetting around outside on their bikes.
In the spirit of fostering a love for learning from a young age, our curriculum focuses on exploratory and educational play for 3- and 4-year-olds. The St Chris Nursery combines traditional values with modern approaches to early years education. This balanced approach nurtures cognitive skills, social intelligence, and emotional well-being, and ultimately helps our youngest learners develop a fundamental understanding of the world around them.
