Year Groups and Minimum Sessions
The St Chris Nursery is divided into two-year groups:
- Half Monte (from the start of the term that a child turns 3)
- Top Monte (aged 3-4)
We operate a minimum session policy: in Half Monte, children start with a minimum of four sessions rising to a minimum of six session each week.
In Top Monte, children start with a minimum of six sessions rising to a minimum of eight sessions each week by the end of the academic year. Morning and afternoon sessions are counted as one session each (with School Day and Whole Day sessions counted as two sessions).
If space allows, children can come for a higher number of sessions from as soon as they start in the Nursery.
Supporting Working Parents with Wraparound Care
We understand the demands of today's fast-paced world, and we are here to support working parents. St Chris offers Wraparound Care, which extends from 7:30am to 6:30pm, five days a week in the main school during term time. If children stay until 6.30pm, a hot dinner is included. This service ensures a seamless transition for your child between the nurturing environment of the Nursery and home, and supports the demands of your daily routine.
