Today, G Group (Year 3) headed off to the British Schools Museum in Hitchin to learn more about life as a Victorian child. The fog blanketing the Junior School lawn made for an epic photo opportunity before they boarded the bus.
The museum offered students ample opportunities to learn more about what education would have been like at different times in the past. Pupils also met Victorian characters as they made their way around the school, with the opportunity to try Victorian chores, engage in demonstrations and immerse themselves in different time periods in the reconstructed classrooms.
