For all students, the school day starts at 8.30am and finishes at 3.55pm, at which point After School Clubs start.

All students need to be in school by 8.30am for registration. There are a number of entrances for Senior School students which all have a key pad, and from there students should make their way to their Company Room.

Absence Reporting

If a student is ill and going to be absent from school or is running late, parents must email attendance@stchris.co.uk and copy in the student’s Company Adviser, before 9.00am.

Absence can also be notified by My School Portal which will inform the Pastoral Assistant.

Lateness should be avoided whenever possible; it disrupts a child’s learning routine and the school day as a whole.

Late arrivals should report to the Pastoral Assistant in the Mulberry Building (pictured above).

If a student is unable to participate in a PE lesson, parents should inform the Company Adviser by email.

After school, collection can be made from outside the Theatre area, and Senior School students can of course travel home on their own.

Please make sure that you have clearly agreed on the arrangements with your child and communicate any changes with their Company Adviser. If your child has a mobile phone, please check that they have a full set of contact information, including the school number.

For those students who stay late but who aren’t taking part in a club, the Homework Club takes place in the Mulberry Building and is open and supervised by staff until 5.00pm each evening. If students are not at a club or a member of the Boarding House, they must go to the Mulberry Building at 3.55pm to sign in.

 

Collection After School
